Features
Unlock Rapid, Precise Analysis with the MacroRAM Raman Spectrometer
- The MacroRAM Raman Spectrometer is engineered to deliver fast, reliable results across a wide range of applications. Whether you're in a fast-paced industrial setting or a dynamic academic lab, the MacroRAM streamlines your workflow, saving you valuable time and resources.
Key Benefits
Quick, Easy, and Efficient Raman Spectroscopy
- Raman spectroscopy requires little to no sample preparation, saving you time, money, and consumables, resulting in a low cost of ownership.
- The simple and easy installation of the MacroRAM and the short warm-up time of less than one minute means you can start measuring samples immediately, eliminating delays and maximizing productivity.
Superior Sensitivity and Wide Dynamic Range
- The high quantum efficiency of the BI-NIR CCD (~4x more QE in the NIR than a standard OE CCD) allows for measurement of the C-H, N-H, and O-H stretching regions, providing more information about the sample than other macroscopic Raman systems on the market. This CCD combined with the high-powered 785 nm laser delivers exceptional sensitivity, allowing for the measurement of low concentration samples.
- On the other hand, the wide dynamic range of the CCD (55,500:1), combined with the fully adjustable laser power, allows for the measurement of samples of varying concentrations—all on a single system!
Safety in Any Environment
- Safety is paramount in any environment, whether in academia or industry. The MacroRAM offers Class 1 laser safety when using the fully enclosed internal compartment. A lid safety interlock ensures that the laser does not turn on until the lid is completely closed, and turns off immediately once the lid is opened, minimizing any potential safety risks.
- When using an external fiber coupled probe, multiple external safety interlocks and an internal shutter provide an extra layer of protection, which is particularly important when multiple users operate the system
Robustness and Versatility
- The compact and robust design of the MacroRAM makes it ideal for both laboratory and field applications, expanding its versatility for various applications
- The MacroRAM enables incredibly fast measurements—fractions of seconds—allowing you to track rapidly changing processes in real-time, at-line, in-line, and/or in-process. This is crucial for applications like monitoring polymerization reactions or other dynamic chemical processes.
Effortless Operation and Powerful Analysis
- Our user-friendly LabSpec software simplifies operation, allowing you to obtain spectra with a single press of a button
- For advanced data processing and analysis, LabSpec software offers a complete solution to extract the precise information you need from your samples—quickly and effortlessly. And, with seamless integration of spectral database searching software, you can identify materials instantly, all with a single click!
